In addition to attending a 3 ½ hour training, volunteer Listeners must attend a minimum of 4 on-going training and monitoring workshops per school year in order to remain as an active Listener. Just as students need Listeners, our on-going workshop professional advisors are “Listeners” for you. They hear your feelings and help you to better understand the situations you are facing with your students. These workshops are provided monthly throughout the school year in both the North and South areas of Miami-Dade. The monthly on-going workshop schedule is in the schedule section of this web site.
